Rosemarie and Larry

Some people make the world special just by being in it.

"Love is everything it's cracked up to be. That's why people are so cynical about it... it really is worth fighting for, being brave for, risking everything for. And the trouble is, if you don't risk everything, you risk even more."
-Erica Jong

"True love is like ghosts, which everybody talks about but few have seen."
-Francois de La Rochefoucauld

"If you press me to say why I loved him, I feel it can be expressed by replying, 'because it was him; because it was me."
-Michele De Montaigne

...All about Larry

Larry Lau... First of all, doesn't he have the funnest name to say? (Sorry, Maly Bun... you come in second place.)

But before I knew that Larry was an amazing boyfriend, he was already an amazing person. He's the kind of guy who will always offer to help you with whatever, even if you don't ask him to, but because he just knows that you need help. He'll never ask for anything in return or make a big deal about how he is giving up his time for you. He's also really dependable and is someone that you can count on. Just ask his roommates... when they all had to fill out their "in case of emergency" cards for their leasing office, they all listed Larry as their emergency contact, even though he was the only roommate who didn't have a car at the time and wouldn't be able to drive to go help them wherever they were. They knew that Larry would be the one who would find a way to help them no matter what, though! :)

Larry

And of course, Larry is a such a great and sweet boyfriend. He always takes care of me and makes sure that I'll be ok with whatever I'm doing or whatever I need to do. He's always the one who calms me down when I'm stressed out and reminds me to just take things one step at a time... he's the voice of reason in my head when I'm really confused and frustrated about things. Actually, I could have had the worst day ever, and just him holding me makes everything all better. :)

I have so much fun when I'm with him, too. We like to laugh a lot about little things, and just enjoy the time we have to spend together even if we're not really talking to each other every single minute. He always makes me smile... whether it be something funny he said, or how adorable he sounded, or even the way he blinks his eyes as if he's concentrating really hard on doing it. :)

Anyway, I think this page is just supposed to be about Larry in general, so here are some facts about the famous Larry Lau:

His favorite game is Super Smash Brothers for the N64. (But when he really needs to study and knows he shouldn't play, he hides the game in the bag of rice in the kitchen.)

His favorite type of music is underground hip hop and he likes to repeat catchy lines from the songs randomly throughout the day. :)

He's into import cars and wants to someday get one of those cars and supe it up--only, of course, if he doesn't get that Porsche.

He's Mr. Nutrition Man in that he's always watching the calorie/fat/fiber content of foods to see if they're worth eating. If anybody needs help with a diet or workout plan, he's the one to ask and he'll write out a whole weekly plan for you. He's always learning about new exercise techniques and new ways to prepare food to make them healthier. He's helped me watch out for certain foods, but he still can't get me to give up tapioca because that's just plain impossible.

He likes to make very detailed lists of what he has to do each day... even including little things like "go to the bathroom." haha, just kidding babe.

Larry's great at playing the piano although he won't admit it.

One of his favorite shows is Friends... and he also likes to watch shows that make him feel "relaxed" like Three's Company and The Cosby Show. He really likes Full House and relates everyday experiences to events that happened on the show. ("This reminds me of when Uncle Jessie...") :)

He said if he suddenly became a DJ and had to pick a name, it would be "DJ Wiggles"

He likes a lot of action movies like Blade II and The Art of War, but will give in when I want to see a romantic comedy.

...if you want to know more about him, you should really just meet him. :)
